Steel Qualities
Normalien uses selected steel in their production of Mould Base & parts. Standard steel used for plate is C 45. However, higher grade steel such as P 20 steel plates are also used. Many parts are made of case hardening steel mainly SAE 8620 equivalent to 16mm Cr5 German grade. Main steel grade analysis are given hereunder:-
